Happy Valentine’s Day!!

In all honesty, I am a bit apathetic about Valentine’s Day. I ADORE my mister and my kiddos but never feel the need to have a day set aside to tell them. I am all about showing love in random acts of kindness throughout the year.

Case and point – about a week ago strawberries were on sale at the market and so I whipped up some chocolate-covered strawberries to celebrate making it through our Tuesday. 😁

It’s the little things, y’all!

Since I am not ALL IN for V-day, I completely blanked on my kiddo’s class valentines. 😳 So when the “reminder” came home Monday, I knew I better get to work.

For some strange reason, that I cannot fully explain, I am fundamentally unable to buy valentines from the store… so I needed something that was simple but FUN. And of course my kiddo had very specific opinions!

He knew it HAD to feature a RACE CAR like the one in his new favorite book!

With a little burst of creative inspiration at 5:30 this morning, I came up with something that we both LOVE! And because I totally relate to the last minute panic mixed with the desire to have something “homemade”, I am including a FREE PRINTABLE so you can print your own!!

Note those straight cut lines, friends. No one has time for intricate cutting!

And because CANDY is synonymous with VALENTINE’S DAY…. we added a lollipop “flame” to the back of the car. But, if you want a bunch of disappointed kids, you can leave this part out, of course…. 😜🤣
